No-Cost Automedi Pilot for Councils and Local Authorities

You read that right! Through partners at LeadingCities, Automedi is giving away not one, but two fully funded pilot deployments of it's first of its kind Circularity-as-a-Service platform for plastic circular microeconomies.

In December 2022, Automedi was delighted to win the QBE AcceliCITY city resilience challenge 2022! QBE AcceliCITY is the world's premier #GovTech accelerator. Automedi was selected as winner of the challenge from over 550 world-class entrants. With it came a $100,000 funding prize to launch a pilot of its service into cities to rapidly decarbonise and turn municipal plastic waste into products at the touch of a button!

AcceliGOV: The prizes!

This year, we begged and pleaded and managed to convince the LeadingCities team to have two prizes, not just one. That means as a city, you have two ways to work with us.

  1. Directly - pilots will be run and contracted directly to cities. They will receive $70,000 directly, on top of 5 finalist consultancy prizes

  2. Through tier-1 suppliers - Cities or tier-1 suppliers with good relationships, with at least one year left to run on an existing contract, can apply to host Automedi clusters on their behalf

How to take part

The AcceliGOV programme is administered by the LeadingCities team, who have put together this handy guide for cities and town councils who would like to take part.

To find out more about the programme and how to take part, AcceliGOV have prepared a microsite. Click the link below!

So, I have to be honest with you, almost nobody I have ever met actually understand the costs of plastic manufacturing in general....
